Terms of Service
Last updated: March 22, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using getaid.dev (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Fantastic Online Stores PTY LTD (ABN 39 655 964 784), trading as getaid.dev (“we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Description of Service
getaid.dev provides a universal identity registry for AI agents. The Service allows users to register AI agents, obtain permanent Agent IDs (AIDs), generate cryptographic keypairs, list agents in a public directory, embed verification badges, and participate in a verification tier system.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3A. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Service.
4. Agent Registration & Registry Operations
When you register an AI agent, you receive a permanent AID and an Ed25519 keypair. The private key is shown once and is your responsibility to store securely. You are solely responsible for the security of your Ed25519 private key. Any actions taken using your private key are deemed authorized by you.
AIDs are permanent and immutable. They are never reused or reassigned, even after deregistration. Deregistered agents remain in the registry with a “Deregistered” status. We reserve the right to suspend AIDs for fraud, legal orders, or violations of these Terms, but will not delete them from the registry.
Handles (e.g., @creator/agent-name) are mutable and subject to cooldown restrictions. Handle disputes will be resolved at our discretion. We reserve the right to reclaim or reassign handles that infringe trademarks, impersonate other entities, or violate our Acceptable Use Policy.
The registry is intended solely for AI agent identity. You must not use it as a general-purpose data store or for purposes unrelated to agent registration and identity.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You must not register agents that impersonate others, engage in fraud, distribute malware, or violate applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Subscription Plans and Billing
The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in our refund policy (14-day refund for plan upgrades; verification purchases are non-refundable). We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
All prices are in US Dollars (USD) and exclusive of applicable taxes. For Australian customers, GST will be applied where required by law.
If you cancel a paid subscription, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. Upon expiration, your account reverts to the Free plan. Agents above the Free plan's concurrent limit remain registered but you cannot create new agents until under the limit.
7. Verification Tiers
Verification tiers (0–3) represent that a specific verification process has been completed. Verification is an informational signal about process completion only. It does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty regarding an agent's behavior, safety, reliability, fitness for any purpose, or compliance with applicable laws.
Verification tiers are subject to expiry, renewal, and revocation. We may revoke verification at any time if conditions are no longer met or at our discretion.
Third parties who rely on verification status displayed in the registry, on badges, or via the API (“relying parties”) do so entirely at their own risk. The registry should not be the sole basis for trust or security decisions. We disclaim all liability for decisions made by relying parties based on verification status.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (agent descriptions, metadata, etc.). By registering an agent, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to display, distribute, cache, and transmit the agent's public profile, badge data, and associated metadata as part of the Service, the public API, and embeddable badges.
You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit all content and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights.
9. Open Source Packages
Certain software packages published by getaid.dev (including @getaid/luhn, @getaid/crypto, and @getaid/mcp-server) are open source and licensed under the MIT License. Your use of these packages is governed by their respective open source licenses, not these Terms. These Terms govern only the hosted Service at getaid.dev, the public API, and associated web applications.
10. Copyright & DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent at dmca@getaid.dev containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Service (AID, handle, or URL)
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will process valid notices and may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. Counter-notifications may be submitted following the same process. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure providers including Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, PostHog, Resend, Cloudflare, and Upstash. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or conduct of these third-party services. Outages or failures of third-party providers do not create liability on our part.
The agent registry contains profiles submitted by third-party users. We do not endorse, verify the behavior of, or guarantee any agent listed in the directory. The registry is informational. You interact with registered agents at your own risk.
13. Termination
By you: You may close your account at any time through the dashboard Settings page or by emailing support@getaid.dev. Upon account closure, your personal information will be anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your agents will be marked as “orphaned” and remain in the registry.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, fraud, illegal activity, or court or regulatory order. For other reasons, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before termination. If you have a paid subscription and we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion.
Data export: You may export your agent data at any time through the API while your account is active. Upon receiving a termination notice, you have 30 days to export your data before access is revoked.
AID survival: Regardless of termination reason, all AIDs remain permanently in the registry. They are never deleted, reused, or reassigned. This is a core design property of the Service.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fantastic Online Stores PTY LTD (trading as getaid.dev) and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the Service or violation of these Terms
- Content you submit that infringes third-party intellectual property or other rights
- Misrepresentation in verification processes or agent registrations
- Compromise, loss, or unauthorized use of your Ed25519 private keys or API keys
- Any claim by a third party related to an agent you registered
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEE REGARDING UPTIME OR AVAILABILITY.
VERIFICATION BADGES AND TIERS ARE INFORMATIONAL SIGNALS ABOUT PROCESS COMPLETION ONLY. THEY DO NOT CONSTITUTE A WARRANTY, ENDORSEMENT, OR GUARANTEE OF AN AGENT'S BEHAVIOR, SAFETY, RELIABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement. If the Australian Consumer Law applies to you, and the Service has a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100). THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE.
The limitations in this section do not apply to liability arising from fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
These limitations also do not apply to the extent prohibited by the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration under rules agreed by both parties. The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or to prevent irreparable harm.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law, EU consumer protection directives, or other applicable mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
18. Class Action Waiver
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND FANTASTIC ONLINE STORES PTY LTD (TRADING AS GETAID.DEV) AGREE THAT ALL DISPUTES SHALL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Fantastic Online Stores PTY LTD (trading as getaid.dev).
This waiver does not apply where prohibited by law, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
19. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms to the extent such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of war or terrorism, government orders, labor disputes, infrastructure failures, cyberattacks, or failures of third-party service providers. Payment obligations are not excused by this provision.
